To transition the client access namespace to Exchange Server 2019, change the DNS record for the client access namespace to the Exchange Server 2019 environment.
1. Login to the Domain Controller server and change DNS for internal clients.
2. Open the DNS Manager tool.
3. Select View and click Advanced.
4. Change the IP address of mail.gooddealmart.ca to the same as the Exchange 2019 server.
5. Change the TTL from 1 HH to 1 MM and click OK.
6. Change firewall NAT settings for external clients and ensure the NAT IP address (or port forwarding) from the Exchange 2016 to the Exchange 2019 server.
